Antalya Shore Excursions

Your day will begin with a private guide and driver picking you up from your hotel. The tour guide will escort you to the first destination for the day, the Antalya Archeology Museum. At the museum you will be transported back in time as you spend a couple of hours discovering and learning the rich history of Turkey and Antalya. Your second destination will be the picturesque and stunning Duden Waterfall. There you will have an opportunity to soak in the views of the Antalya coastline and green park surrounding the falls. Once rested, your guide will transport you to Antalya’s City Center. There you will be given a walking tour of the historical district, Kaleici, and you will have opportunities for shopping and sightseeing. Your tour will conclude with your guide returning you to your hotel at around 17:00.

Following this site, the tour will continue to the Uupinar River for lunch. The next stop on the tour is Olympos with it’s magnificent beach. The late afternoon will be spent hiking to Cirali in the Taurus Mountains. In Cirali you will discover flames, which are produced by natural gas, coming from the rocks. These flames have been burning for thousands of years. Since you will visit Cirali in the late afternoon, it is advised to bring a flashlight and good shoes for climbing and hiking. If time allows for it, you may also have the chance to visit Karain Cave (ask to confirm this extra site when booking). You will then visit the Antalya Museum, which includes many historic artifacts, statues, sarcophagus, and the bones of St. Nicolas. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Afterward, you will go to Kaleici to stroll the historic old city and harbor at your leisure. The tour will conclude with your driver returning you to your hotel.

Following lunch the tour will continue with a boat tour of the sunken city of Kekova. The boat tour will take approximately 2 hours. Your tour will conclude with your guide returning you to your hotel.

In spite of the many earthquakes, the theater, aqueduct and buildings are all in great condition due to their incredible infrastructure. In the afternoon there will be a break at the Kursunlu Waterfall.
